As winter weather continues to affect our area, we want to remind you of the importance of safety during this season. While we all enjoy the beauty of snowfall and the fun that comes with it, we must also remember the potential hazards it can pose.
One particular activity that can be risky is throwing snowballs, especially on school grounds. Despite being a popular pastime among children, it can lead to serious injuries, including broken bones, head injuries, and eye injuries.
To ensure the safety of all our students, we kindly ask for your cooperation in discouraging your children from throwing snowballs while at school. We will closely monitor the situation and enforce school policies to prevent accidents or injuries. Today we had multiple injuries because the snow has turned to ice.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our students safe during the winter season. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
