Important Dates and Deadlines for Fall 2025

Kindergarten Online Enrollment: Begins Friday, March 7. Be sure to mark “YES” on the registration form that you are interested in the bilingual program and sign up for a Dual Language.

Deadline: The last day to request the Dual Language Program is Thursday, May 15.

Bilingual Program Information Night: Friday, April 11 in the Bishop Elementary School Library (LRC) from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm for English and 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm for Spanish.

Dual program Tour for parents: April 28, 30, and May 2nd - Parents must choose one of the 3 tour options. 8:20am. @ Main office

Dual Program Kindergarten Interviews: May 12, 13, 14, or 15 Interviews will take place at the school. We encourage you to sign up for an interview when you register your child to select the day and time for both parents and child to come to the interview. We meet with each family requesting dual language to ensure is the right choice for your child. Also, May 15 is the last day to submit the required documents and enter the lottery system.

Lottery: When there are more requests for the program than there are spaces, the selection is based on a lottery. Students whose names are not drawn will be placed on the waiting list.

Notification of Class Placement: Lottery results will be mailed on June 4, 2025.

Inscripción Online para Kindergarten: Empieza el viernes, 7 de marzo. Si está interesado en el programa bilingüe, asegurarse de marcar “SI” en el formulario de inscripción y registrarse para el programa bilingue.

Fecha del último día para solicitar el programa bilingüe: es el jueves, 15 de mayo.

Noche de información del programa bilingüe: viernes, 11 de abril en la Biblioteca de la Escuela Primaria de Bishop (LRC) de 5:30 p. m. a 6:15 p. m. para inglés y de 6:30 p. m. a 7:15 p. m. para español.

Visitas a las clases bilingües para padres: Abril 28, 30 ó 2 de mayo - Los padres pueden escoger cualquiera de estas tres opciones. Empieza a las 8:20 y nos reuniremos en la oficina principal. Inscribirse para las visitas.

Entrevistas para el Programa Bilingüe: Mayo 12, 13, 14 ó 15 - Las entrevistas se llevarán a cabo en la escuela. Necesita inscribirse para una entrevista cuando registre a su hijo para poder seleccionar el día y la hora. Los padres y el niño asistirán a la entrevista. Tenemos una reunión con cada familia que ha solicitado el programa bilingüe para asegurarnos de que sea la opción correcta para su hijo. Además, el 15 de mayo es el último día para presentar los documentos requeridos y entrar al sistema de lotería.

Lotería: cuando hay más solicitudes para el programa que espacios, la selección se basa en un sorteo. Los estudiantes cuyos nombres no han sido seleccionados, serán colocados en la lista de espera.

Notificación de colocación de clase: Los resultados de la lotería se enviarán por correo el 4 de junio del 2025.
