Thurs 9/11 - Good news, BUSD. The local air quality has improved and schools will resume regular indoor and outdoor activities today. Individuals with sensitivities or health conditions may consider limiting the amount of outdoor time as AQI levels are currently in the moderate (yellow) range.
Tues 9/9 - Due to the poor air quality, all school activities will remain indoors again today, unless or until conditions improve. Thank you.
Due to the ongoing smoke and unhealthy air quality in our area, school will remain on a normal bell schedule, but all outdoor activities, including recess, lunch, and PE, will be moved indoors until conditions improve.
Pease remind students to stay indoors as much as possible, and to limit any outdoor exposure during breaks. We are monitoring the air quality closely and will continue to make adjustments as necessary.
