Pumpkin Patch

The Bishop FFA Chapter invites families throughout the Eastern Sierra to celebrate fall at the 2026 Bishop FFA Pumpkin Patch, held Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 11, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Bishop FFA School Farm on Sunland.

A highlight of the annual event is the selection of locally grown pumpkins from the Wallace Farm in Fish Lake, Nevada. Bishop FFA members help harvest and bring the pumpkins to the school farm, giving students another opportunity to participate directly in local agriculture.

The Pumpkin Patch offers plenty for the entire family. Activities include games, pony and tractor rides, baby animals, a petting zoo, bake sale, BBQ, and swamp tours. Admission to the Pumpkin Patch is free.

More than just a community event, the Pumpkin Patch is an important hands-on learning experience for Bishop High School agriculture students. FFA members help prepare the farm, harvest pumpkins, care for animals, organize activities, work with visitors, and take responsibility for running many parts of the event.

The event also gives the community an opportunity to visit the Bishop FFA School Farm and see firsthand the agricultural education opportunities available to local students. Proceeds help support Bishop FFA programs, student activities, competitions, and other educational opportunities throughout the year.

Bishop FFA appreciates the continued support of the parents, volunteers, local businesses, agricultural producers, and community members who help make the Pumpkin Patch possible each year.

Come out October 10 and 11, pick out a locally grown Wallace Farm pumpkin, enjoy the animals and activities, and support Bishop FFA and agricultural education!

The fall fun continues with the Bishop FFA Haunted Swamp on October 17, 24, and 31 from 7–9 p.m., with admission of $10 per person.
